FPSO/FSO Management

With over a decade of experience in managing the operations of FPSO and FSO vessels, Alliance Marine Services draws on this expertise to provide our clients with exemplary service in this area.

Other companies contract as an agent for the vessel-owning principal: We prefer to act as the fully  Responsible Operator of FPSO or FSO units. What this means for our client is that is we will be responsible for the crewing, supplies, maintenance, insurance and the general administration of the unit. In addition, we assure our clients that our performance will be similar to that of an in-house operations department with both a system of checks-and-balances and policies and procedures that comply with international legislation and in particular we have the certification for operating FPSO vessels in accordance with the International Safety Management Code (“ISM”).

AMS supplies experienced personnel to operate both the marine and production equipment onboard. And, if the need arises, sourcing of individual crewmembers with special skills is afforded by our global network of alliance partners.

A few of our FPSO/FSO clients have included Amerada Hess, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips Marathon Oil, SBM, Oceaneering, CMS Energy, Trafigura Group, and Modec International. These companies have had units  operating offshore the coast of West Africa and in the South China Sea.
